Peppin is a daily game aimed at lovers of the arts and humanities! It’s designed to exercise the brain. It’s all about unlocking parts of your memory that may have gathered some dust. Its quiz questions range from easy to difficult but they are not so excruciatingly tough, and, most answers will be hiding somewhere in the labyrinth of your mind. You just need to tease them out by revealing the letters until your brain ‘unlocks’ the answer. Go on, exercise your brain.

Peppin doesn't use cookies, and we don't ask players for names, emails, or accounts. Here's exactly what we do handle:
Anonymous visit counts. We use a privacy-focused analytics tool to see roughly how many people play each day. It doesn't use cookies and can't identify you personally — only we can see the total numbers.
Daily reminders (optional). If you turn on "Play Every Day," your browser creates an anonymous notification token so we can nudge you when a new puzzle drops. It isn't linked to your name or email, and you can turn it off at any time.
Standard web hosting. Like any website, our hosting provider briefly handles basic technical details — such as your device's IP address — simply to deliver the page to your browser. This is standard for every website on the internet, and isn't something we actively collect or store ourselves.
Your game progress. Lives only in your browser's memory while you play. It isn't saved to any server, and disappears the moment you close or reload the page.
Today's result. Once you finish a day's puzzle, your browser remembers just that one result (your tier and stats) so reloading the page won't let you replay the same puzzle knowing the answers. It's stored only on your device, isn't linked to you personally, and is automatically replaced the next day.

Score Explained
Every playthrough is scored in an algorithmic tiering system.
Doofus
Someone who is possibly having a bad day, struggling to concentrate for more than a few moments. Maybe get some sleep.
Novice
Uses many hints, clues and longer game time attempts.
Scholar
Uses several hints and clues, with longer than average game time.
Wordsmith
Finds most answers with few hints or clues, average game time.
Expert
Few hints or clues, quick game time, but uses the final anagram clue.
Genius
Very few hints, rapid game time, but never asks for the final anagram clue.
Einstein
Supersonic game time, no hints, few attempts, and no anagram clue.
